  1. I was reading the website and they are talking about Sheafs. When I was a little girls we would sing a song in church called Bringing in the Sheafs. But I always thought they were singing “sheets” So when I would bring in the laundry from the line I would sing my heart out, “Bringing in the sheets, bringing in the sheets, we will come rejoicing, Bringing in the sheets!”

What I learned – Gustav Vasa was called the Rye King.
Swedes are largest consumers of flat bread. (I actually thought that was me)
Wasa Crispbreads are a healthy alternative to bread.

  2. How do I enjoy these flavors?

Wasa Original Thin & Crispy Flatbread – usually with avocado or guacamole
Wasa Sesame Thin & Crispy Flatbread – with cherry or grape tomatoes
Wasa Rosemary Thin & Crispy Flatbread – all alone

  3. Hi there! Thanks for having this giveaway! I would love to try their sesame option because I could use it and eat it with my hummus. I love flatbreads!

  4. “Wasa is the world’s largest producer of flatbread. The Swedes eat more flatbread than any other people in the world, almost 4 kilograms per capita.”

WHat??I totally did not know this. This is wild!

  5. On the Wasa web site, I learned that many of their products “may contain traces of milk.” I am guessing this is their equivalent of the “manufactured in a facility that also produces XYZ” statements we see on other products. I could not find nutritional information on the flatbread, though. :-\

  6. I learned from the site, “From the beginning, rye, yeast, salt and water have been the basic ingredients in many Wasa health food products.”

Fave sweet way to eat wasa is with almond butter, agave and cashew cream.

  7. The rosemary flatbreads are seriously addictive. I can easily eat a whole box by myself in a couple of days. And I love how much rye their flatbreads use. Rye is my favorite.
